Cordill Mason Wins BSSD FitNet Challenge!

The first BSSD FitNet Challenge ended last Friday with Cordill Mason the winners. With 587,923 steps in just 47 days, Cordill Mason participants averaged over 12,500 steps per day! They were led by their Principal, Alan Michelson who walked an amazing 828,808 over the 47 days, which is an average of over 17,500 steps per day. Needless to say, he brought their average way up.

As you can see, the total steps for a team is based on the average of their participants, which allows for teams to have different numbers of participants with out being lop sided. Overall, 19 schools/buildings were represented on the scoreboard for our first ever FitNet Challenge with the Blue Springs School District. Big props for Director of Benefits, Shawn Roderick for making this go.

We look forward to starting a new FitNet Challenge with the Blue Springs School District as the school year gets kicked off. I am hoping we will get even more participants and will easily eclipse the 9 Million steps accumulated over this past competition. Which, by the way, is about 3,000 Miles. Way to go Blue Springs School District!
