About
KC Fit

KC Fit is more than just a place to exercise — it’s a supportive community where people come to move, grow, and feel good in their bodies. We focus on creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where every person feels comfortable, capable, and encouraged, no matter their starting point.

KC Fit understands the realities of busy lives, low confidence, and starting from scratch. That lived experience shapes everything we do — from the way we coach to the way we build our community.

Our classes are designed to be:

• Inclusive and suitable for all fitness levels
• Focused on functional strength and real-life movement
• Supportive, positive, and judgement-free
• Flexible to work around whānau, work, and life commitments

We believe fitness isn’t about punishment or perfection — it’s about building strength, confidence, resilience, and long-term habits that support your wellbeing.

At KC Fit, you’re not just another number. You’re part of a community that celebrates your wins, supports you through challenges, and helps you become stronger — physically and mentally.

Whether you’re returning to movement, starting for the first time, or ready to level up your training, KC Fit is here to walk alongside you every step of the way. 💪✨

About
Tania van dorsten

Certified Fitness Trainer, Owner and Head Coach

Tania is a mum of two and the driving force behind KC Fit.
Her fitness journey began after becoming a mother, when she realised she wanted to be strong, fit, and healthy for her children.

Starting from that point gave her a deep understanding of what it feels like to begin with low confidence, limited time, and the challenges of balancing whānau, work, and wellbeing.

This lived experience shapes her coaching approach. Tania is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where every person feels welcome, capable, and encouraged — no matter their starting point.

Her focus is on functional strength, building confidence, and helping clients develop sustainable habits that fit into real life.

As a coach, she is known for:

• Encouragement without judgement
• Providing options and progressions for all fitness levels
• Focusing on long-term health rather than quick fixes
• Building strong community connections
• Celebrating every win, big or small

Tania believes movement should be empowering, not intimidating. Her goal is to help people feel stronger, more confident, and supported — both in and out of the gym.
